Cloudy and warm today! I'll let you know when you need the umbrella here ~Caroline
It is a warm, humid and cloudy day! Temperatures climb to the mid-80s this afternoon. Our winds will be much breezier today. Winds will be from the SE 10-20 mph with gusts up to 25. It gets windier tomorrow and Saturday.
A small craft advisory goes into effect this evening for our coastal waters. Winds will be from the SE at 20-30kts with seas 6-9ft. This will cause hazardous swimming and boating conditions. The advisory is in place through 7PM Friday night, but will likely be extended through the weekend.
Tonight will once again be cloudy, muggy and mild with lows in the lower-70s.
We are tracking a small chance for rain on Friday afternoon. The highest chance of seeing showers and storms is to the north and west of the Houston area. Friday will be cloudy, humid and windy with highs in the 80s.
I do not have any rain in the forecast to start the weekend. The cool front that brings storms doesn’t arrive until Sunday afternoon. On Sunday we could get strong thunderstorms that bring street flooding. More storms are possible Monday and Tuesday too.
Have a great Thursday afternoon!
