As soon as you step outside, you're going to feel the warm and humid weather! We're starting the morning in the 70s and our high will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s today.
We're tracking the potential for rain throughout the entire day, but the threat for more severe weather picks up this evening.
Right now, models show storms picking up in our western counties around 6 pm into Houston and 9 pm into the overnight hours on Sunday. Models are always changing and our team will update you on TV and online if the timing shifts.
Severe Storm Threat:
2-4" heavy rain
Flooding
Wind 40-60 mph
Large Hail
Slight chance for an isolated tornado.
Rain amounts of 2-4" north of I-10 with 1-3" south of I-10.
Once we get past the chance for rain early Sunday morning - sunshine returns our way.
