Hot and hazy Wednesday! I'll let you know when we cool down here ~Caroline
Temperatures are climbing through through the upper-80s and approaching 90 degrees this afternoon. Factor in the humidity and it feels like the upper-90s to near 100 degrees. We have hazy conditions due to some smoke that has moved in from fires in Central America.
Tonight we will have yet another abnormally warm evening! Temperatures will only drop to the mid-70s by Thursday morning.
Thursday will be much like we saw today with highs in the upper-80s to near 90 but feeling like 100.
Our cold front finally arrives Thursday night into Friday morning. Our northern cities have a severe weather threat but the chance of rain in Houston is only at 20% overnight.
Behind the front we will have a much more comfortable weekend with low humidity, lows in the 60s and highs in the lower-80s.
Storm chances ramp up for all of SE Texas on Sunday (Mother's Day) and Monday. There is a flood threat so plan for extra time for driving while you're heading to visit mon!
Have a great afternoon!
